I just cannot believe how some people can not see the associated risks of walking up high mountains, in totally unsuitable clothing.
Climbing the mountain fully clothed is one thing, but in just your undies, totally nuts.
Just recently, a young man Nathan French got into serious difficulty, all because he climbed Snowdon in just a pair of superman styled underpants.
He had to call out the emergency services to help him.
They should have left him there.

It probably sounded like a good idea in the pub :-[
He did it to raise money for charity but it could have gone drastically wrong.

Well I can believe it. Last Saturday morning, which was grey and on the cool side, I chatted to an older German couple who were on their way up the Watkin Path, he in a short-sleeved summer shirt, she with a lightweight windcheater, and both carrying tiny little rucksacks that couldn't possibly have contained any extra clothing. But the man had done it before, he assured me.
Best sight of all, however, was a seriously overweight man with a pregnancy-sized gut, walking poles but no rucksack - and a fag in his mouth!
