Castleshaw reservoirs
Trig point at GR012 104 millstone edge
that Redbrook Premium at the Riverhead brewery tap..
was rather moreish HIC....  :D

I like the random goat lying by the kerb. Wouldn't be my first choice of location for a rest.  ;D

How did you get to the start of your walk, by car... or train at Greenfield?


I've never thought about doing this as a walk even though I drive a lot of this on my way to/ from work each day, but I certainly will now as it looks superb.  How far was it in total?

I got the bus from Huddersfield to Uppermill, the 184, it goes between Huddersfield n Manchester.
Not sure about the distance..............was beefys route. 7 miles?
