Hi guys, thought I'd share these images from our absolutely glorious long weekend just gone.
Obviously it was a LOT of driving but I like that (as you can probably tell from my name) and we saw some truly wonderful sights. They're only phone shots as always so the quality / definition is pants but the views are good!
First up was the utterly wonderful Brentor Church. We loved this spot so much we went back the day after and had a picnic and drank some cider. Cool windswept tree too!
Then it was off to the coast for the amazing Blackchurch Rock. We spent hours here completely alone. One of my favourite things I've ever seen. That's my wife standing in the right hand hole to give it some scale.
Next was Lydford Gorge which we both thought was absolutely wonderful, although a little busy but I guess that is to be expected.
We spent a very long time taking in the sights of Foggintor Quarry. Conditions were far from good but we covered the whole thing top and bottom. Loved every moment of this. The first shot looks like a mini Yosemite Valley view, which is obviously a good thing. I also enjoyed greatly that my wife insisted on calling it "The Fogginator"
And finally, my first visit to Durdle Door. An amazing bit of coastline.
