Thanks everyone; can I ask if it is possible to walk from ByCoed to Capel Curig, using a sherpa bus service to ByCoed to start with?

A slog along the road isn't the best of walks, the Sherpa stops there as well as Betws and would be the sensible option?

Some Betws walks here: http://www.mudandroutes.com/snowdonia-walks-from-betws-y-coed/

Yep, I wondered why anyone would walk from ByC to CC when there's a bus service, but then I wondered if Henry wanted to walk it off road..
It looks doable, using the forest tracks on the north side of the A5 from ByC to Ty Hyll, crossing the bridge and continuing along the track on the south side of the A5 to Siabod Cafe.

Just to clarify folks I'm not looking for a roadside walk I hate these passionately. I'm looking for a forest track route. I prefer A to B walks over 'to there and back again'. If I get a decent forecast is climbing Moel Siabod from CC easy enough? Thanks for the link for Betws walks
