A walk along the coast near Botallack. The old mines.
Towards Pendeen. Fabulous coastline
Arriving at the Scilly Isles on the Airbus
Walking on St Mary's
Masses of flowers everywhere
Oh dear, where was this
Tropical gardens at Tresco
The Scillonian. Everything comes on this boat
Coming back to Lands End
Minack Theatre. Porthcurno
I went to see a play here, fabulous place, the moon reflecting across the sea. Magic.
Lands End
Sennen Cove. I parked here and walked to Lands End because I didn't want to pay £3 parking.
St Michaels Mount. Walk across when the tide is out.
Looking back towards the mainland from St M's Mount
The grand finale, The Eden Project
Then I came home. Brilliant holiday absolutely loved it, want to go again. I shall be writing about it on my blog if you are interested. thanks for looking at my pics.

Oh some wonderful places there bringing back great memories.... You cannot beat the Cornish coast in my opinion.
Sennen Cove is one of my faves as we once had a picnic overlooking the sea, and then watched several basking sharks feeding. Magic.
Great pics and thanks for sharing.

Thanks for all the holiday snaps Illona - I'm lucky that my folks live down in Falmouth, so I get to go down there at least once a year. My brother-in-law works at the Eden project, so he always lets us in the side gate
Glad you had fabulous weather for you're grand tour.

Thanks for your comments, I am trying a bit harder to compose better photo's. Yes, the sea really was blue, the water was crystal clear in most places, and the sand was white, such a beautiful part of the country. Now where shall I go next

Wonderful photos which bring back such fantastic memories of living and working, for a short while, in West Cornwall and lots of subsequent trips along the same coast and on the Isles of Scilly. I think the photo you aren't sure about is Hugh Town on St Mary's, but I don't know which particular beach is shown.
Minnack theatre is a great experience - especially when you are 'forced' into being part of the play

More lovely pictures.
Love the Cornish coast Minack theatre. I saw 'Comedy of Errors' there many moons ago - wonderful back drop. We tend to tour round with our tent and usually at the campsite at Treen which overlooks Porthcurno beach and the theatre.
Would love to go to the Isles of Scilly
