I'm due to buy a base layer and was hoping to get a lightweight long sleeved merino (or equivalent) that is not stark white but that 'natural' un-coloured ..... colour !

I already have a selection of various colours & types but never had anything matching this criteria:- I thought it worth asking if anyone has something like this ?

It won't be for 'technical' use. It's to go under more formal clothing to keep me warm without displaying Smelly Helly stripes or gaudy colours through a shirt   O0
PS - I saw an on-line ad for a company called Dilling - which seems to be just what I want, but I've never heard of them so hesitant to part with £ until I know more.

M&S?

Thanks Ridge.

These replies are making me feel old - these are companies that I would have run a mile from not that long ago (well, 15 years isn't that long ago)   :-[

Yes I've noticed that companies who only used to sell clothes for old people have clearly changed the demographic that they are aiming at as now I think that they are OK.

I did !
Not sure it'd suffice for 'outdoorsy' pursuits but around an un-heated house it was very warm. I am waiting for a chance to give it a go on a walk. You never know it may be a revelation.
I think for my intended purpose it may just be the job and if it works for walking, so much the better.
