Hotel booked, looking to climb scafell pike next Monday the 16th.
has anyone been up this week and whats it like out there?
hoping most of the snow has gone by then.

another death on snowdon today so safety first.

I know it was full of snow last weekend, as a pal went up on the friday.  He said it was 3 foot in places, and blowing a gale.

Cant see it going in the space of a week, knowing what weather we have had.

He was doing a route called the horshoe this weekend up there, and that was like a skating rink near the top, full crampons and ice axe needed.
