Only ever passed bye the island on the ferry heading to Belgium to get to the Alps.  Is the nature reserve reachable from Fife. I can see that the sea parrots are well served with their favourite wee sand eels? The wee islands in the Forth appear to be amazing places to visit....went to one of them when a primary schoolkid at that time living in Edinburgh ....think that it was Inchcolm?

Fine photos, a highly rewarding short excursion  O0
We thought the Isle of May boat trip the best value ever for around a tenner (at the time, 2004) :)

The ferry goes from Anstruther in Fife, https://www.isleofmayferry.com/ best to book early, I booked about a month ago. £28 per person.

Inchcolm is reachable from South Queenfery, https://www.maidoftheforth.co.uk/ For the other islands you'll need your own boat. but they are all very worth visiting.

Beautiful pictures
This one caught my eye as perfect for a caption - any suggestions what the puffin on the rock are saying to the flying puffin?
