Title: VR My recent walk from Stonethwaite to Angle Tarn.

Inspired by Beefy’s video this is my first attempt at my own.
I went from Stonethwaite up to Angle Tarn via Stake Pass, stayed the night in Angle Tarn Gill and returned to Stonethwaite the following morning.
The weather was superb.

The tent is an absolute doodle to put up, two poles both the same length into enclosed sleeves and pull the cups tight, that’s it apart from five pegs and the guy line’s if you feel they are needed.
It only weighs 1.70 kg and is a Palace for one but wouldn’t like to squeeze two into it even though technically it’s a two man, Hilleberg even say one and a half!
That was the first time I’ve used it so it didn’t experience any bad conditions but as it’s a Hilleberg I’d expect it to cope with quite a lot of battering.

Great vid, hopefully the first of many.
