The originating website, still in beta and incomplete, starts with a howling error (or deliberate deception) on its home page: wild camping is not illegal in England and Wales.I notice the 'Landowner Login' button on the 'About' page too.
More to the point, there are no wild camping sites listed on the website at all.
I got the impression that they decided the pitch spots and emailed them privately to the suckers, er... clients, hence none listed on the site, otherwise people could just go to those spots independently.Anyway, clearly a scam
It's supported by DEFRA, so it has official government backing already.
Oh it also appears to be supported by the national parks.
