Cumbria way.
« on: 12:22:41, 08/03/09 »
My mate has walked it a couple of times. And I have agreed to do day 2 and 3 when he goes this month. Hence the new boots and intensive training (for me anyway).
They seem the best days, Coniston to Langdale then Langdale to Keswick.

I,m really looking forward to it but any hints or tips for 30 mile in 2 days would be appreciated.

You may wish to have a look here  http://www.thecumbriaway.info/. It's not difficult walking , just pacing yourself.

I did it to Caldbeck in two days last year - added on some peaks so it did not get too boring. It is pleasant enough but I do like to get onto the tops so I can recommend a variation taking in peaks see web site
