I believe that the series was originally shown on BBC4 but is now being shown on BBC2....I may be wrong though.

It was shown on BBC4 when I first posted, it's now being repeated on BBC2.
There was one on Wainwright himself then four on different walks: Haystacks, Blencathra, Castle Crag and Scafell Pike.
