A Moonlight Wander On The Galtee Mountains
« on: 20:58:58, 05/02/15 »
;D I found myself excited by the prospect of a walk/climb on a snow covered Galtee Mountains by the light of a full moon. I don't do enough night walks and hopefully I will do more in the future. Alas I wasn't able to capture any good pictures of the wonderful magical scenes after dark but I hope you enjoy the post anyway, http://howlingmist.blogspot.ie/2015/02/moonlight-wander-on-galtee-mountains.html

Well done Stephen even without the photos it was an interesting read  O0

You could try a time exposure if your camera will allow but it would mean either carrying a tripod or beanbag or something to steady the camera but the wind sounded a bit fierce so may still not be effective for a decent image  ::) .

I was trying just that but the wind, cold hands and unfamiliarity were my undoing. I must do some practice.

Great write up Stephen  O0 On Seat Sandal it was only  :o -16 wind chill and my right hand nearly froze taking a shot of beefy on the top so I don't blame you for not exposing your hands in - 30 wind chill  :)
