Lake District - Multi day circular walks
« on: 12:27:26, 17/08/20 »
Hi there,

First post on here. I'm potentially heading up to the Lakes on the 2nd week of September. Can anybody recommend a good 3 day circular walk (2 overnights).

We'll be driving to and from the Lakes on the first and third day, so realistically the first and last day would be less intense than the 2nd but we can make it work.
Something moderate - challenging.
Look forward to the replies!
Thank youJon

Welcome to the forum.  Difficult for members to give an answer your question without knowing where you are staying, how experienced you are at hill navigation and what you regard as challenging.  For openers, have you looked at the routes on ViewRanger or the OS website?  Both can be customised to turn up routes of specific length and difficulty.

Welcome to the forum Jon  :)

Can you give us a bit more information on your plans - are you planning to camp in sites, go wild camping, or use B&Bs etc?

Three Valleys/passes walk - Borrowdale- Gt Langdale - Wasdale- Borrowdale.

You can keep low level and use the passes or go high route taking in the summits.

Alternatively keep your base location the same and do different circular walks. It al depends on what you are doing accommodation wise and your level of fitness.
