My second walk last week-end saw me take the bus from Hathersage to Hope village. I saw Win Hill from Lose Hill the day before and decided to make that the focal point for Sunday's walk. Starting from Hope I walked down the street before climbing Win Hill through fields. The mist descended as I approached the summit so I decided to descend to Ladybower reservoir. This reservoir is very picturesque and makes for a good low level walk. Thankfully the cloud lifted as forays of sunshine burst through. I ascended back through the forest to Win Hill. The views were good stretching from the Kinder plateau to Stannage Edge. I made the short descent to Hope in 30 minutes. Total distance was 15km.
