"On foot" - as in you were standing up?

I was standing up, or kneeling down when I took the shots, but did walk to the location with a guide.

I was just wondering how much flexibility there was with (photos of) "...animals taken during walks" as mentioned in the OP.  :)

I haven’t read the whole 98 pages of this thread, so don’t know what the OP said. I just went by the thread title. I deliberately didn’t post anything from inside a vehicle or within a lodge, but only those when there was walking involved. I captured a few others while on foot, but most of my my photos during the trip did not involve walking and I won’t post these on this forum. Admittedly, we had an armed guide for our walks since we wouldn’t have lasted long by ourselves in the bush, but they were still walks.

From yesterday's walk in Grimthorpe Caste. I've walked there on several occasion, but had never seen any 'Reeves Pheasants'. So beautiful. They are very tame, didn't run away. wish they have many more days, weeks or years to live. We heard many shooting noises around   :-\

There are a lot of pheasants around my way, but I've never seen any as impressive as those!   O0

I have seen Golden Pheasants in the woods of the Greensand Range in Beds and Bucks - they, along with Sika deer and Muntjac are "presents" from the Dukes of Bedford at Woburn.
Talking exotic foreign wild life, we had Glis Glis in the attics of the houses in the near the woods in Tring/Wendover area.  They were a bit of a nuisance as they were a protected species with an unfortunate liking for wiring.

Black Swans!? and they are not in water, or on grass. They can't be pet swans, can they?

No, there are quite a few swans around here.  What I find strange is seeing swans paddling on the ocean.  Not unusual to see the 3 swans (I assume one is the parent of the little black ones), paddling out Penzance harbour, past the Jubilee Pool, about a mile and a half along the Promenade and then feed at Newlyn.
Then they paddle back.

Only if you give then back to Australia.
Seems quite apt that they are in Penzance, wonder if they will still be here on Darkie Day.
