There is now a temporary road bridge open to Pooley Bridge. Great news for the community.

Good news. As its on the site of the old bridge I wonder what happens when they start building the new one, will they build it to one side or move this one over?

A591 at Dunmail Raise is scheduled to reopen in May.

Let's hope it doesn't go the way of the temporary bridge at Langwathby. Been there since the sixties, still there, still single carriageway.
