Nice blog. Not been up Caradoc but had a jaunt up to hope bowdler a few years back when we camped near the. Wenlock Edge is a good walk as well  O0

Yes, I've got my eye on Wenlock Edge too. Not sure whether to try and do it in one go or in two halves - in which case I'd need a B&B or pub somewhere close to it (I'm not one for camping!)... Mind you, there's plenty of walking around there to keep me going until I work that one out.

Nearly 7 miles along the edge from Wenlock, 10 to go to Craven Arms and the rail station or connect with Ludlow bus service back to Salop. The Bridgenorth bus will get you to Much Wenlock from Shrewsbury quite regular times.

I had a quite glorious walk over Caer Caradoc a couple of years ago, starting at Longville and taking in the lovely village of Cardington on the way to Church Stretton.  The views from the top are stunning.
