Title: TR - Hay Bluff
Post by: clyoung on 21:25:08, 07/10/18

Not really a proper walk, just a brief stop on my way to the launch of the Cariads Local Ltd calendar exhibition (you can see my pictures and others in the Upper Gallery at The Globe at Hay until the end of the year). I parked at the stone circle car park and followed the obvious route (https://my.viewranger.com/track/details/ODgwMzQwOA==).

Thanks, we've done a few proper walks in this area (including the infamous one where my boots fell apart and I ended up coming down a steep, muddy hill in the dark and rain in my socks, with 2 worried children  ::)

When the hills are as good as this they are all 'proper walks', they all count but I know what you mean.
The Black mountains have great views and miles of easy walking after the initial climb up the escarpment.

An hour did seem ridiculously short but it was enough to raise my heart rare a bit! Usually do a full day to justify the drive.
