Splendid pic Tom. I've just read your excellent TR; The path you couldn't find pretty much follows the snow line on the edge in your picture then descends the broad ridge to the Llyn. It's possible that you couldn't find it cos it was obscured by the snow.

It soon picks up a good farm track (Maybe the one you drove up) but before the road a path crosses a bridge to return to the tea room. There's also another path that descends steeply to the other side of the Llyn, but IIRC it's very wet underfoot on that side..

It's a superb little walk. Try it again on a summer's day and do the loop. It probably won't be any busier either...

Thank you very much Hillhiker, in all honesty, it was too windy, and icy for me to contemplate getting that close to the edge. I do plan on going back later in the year and doing the whole loop.

Not the most dramatic landscape nor traditional hiking stomping ground but it is my best pic of the day and I like it.

Apologies because this isn't walking related, but I couldn't resist.....

New born baby Blackbirds in a nest in my back garden.  They can't be more than a day or two old  :)

Don't let Springwatch know - the weasels, adders, bonxies, swimming badgers, jays, magpies etc all seem to have a hot line to the programme.

Lovely pics :)
So many paths yet to walk, so little time left
