On my second pair of Meindls. They are flawless in my opinion.

It was actually quite nice being able to contribute something to the forum for once instead of just asking endless questions! ;D

Die is cast, popped into Cotswold in Brighton today, tried on the Bhutans and came away with a pair, discounted by 20% due to my being in Sussex Search and Rescue.  Won't have a chance to try them out in anger for a few weeks until I return from my C2C, but they appear very comfortable although I shall stick with my Salomons for the C2C  O0

Hope the soles of your Meindls last longer than mine did.

Cheers, forecast is looking good ... so much so that I'm just taking my single layer Precip, and not a 3 layer jacket, saves on bulk and weight  :)
