TR - Scafell Pike & Lingmell
« on: 20:25:42, 18/02/19 »
Finally managed to get a winter outing in the bag - England's highest. Fantastically windy and brutally cold - a thoroughly enjoyable day

Such great photos Dave, I'm going to have a look at your TR/blog to get the full effect  O0
Well done - looks a tremendous day.
Only a hill but all of life to me, up there between the sunset and the sea.

Great photos Dave, looked an amazing day mate. I’ll have a read of your blog later when I’ve got more time  O0

Edit
Excellent read that Dave, I can imagine that day was blumin cold in those winds.
I was up there myself a couple of months ago, no snow, but like you, walking in those conditions around there isn’t easy, so well done.  O0

It was a superb day - the only thing the photos don't show was the wind - pretty tough work for an hour or so between Calf Cove and Lingmell Col

A superb walk and photos. Those conditions make some of the images look almost monochrome, which I find enhances the feeling of bleak cold.

Hi Dave,

That really is a fantastic TR.  The pics/ views are simply stunning and most certainly worth the struggle through the strong wind and cold.

Cheers
