Yorkshire Dales (Western Area)
The decision was made to go to the Dales today to try to avoid the showers that the weatherman was forecasting. We parked up at Stainforth and walked along a section of the Ribble Way, first to Moor Head Lane and then to Helwith Bridge. A very short section of roadside walking took us to the Pennine Bridleway over to Feizor from where we returned via Smearsett Scar, Little Stainforth and Stainforth Force.
Pictures for this walk are now available on the website.
Regards,
Dave
