I think we are all in need of a bit of light relief in these days so I took myself off up to Moasdale and walked one of my favourite routes,

I usually put all my pics straight on the forum but I got a bit carried away and took loads  :)    so to save bandwith Here is a LINK

Wow, fantastic photos Karl  O0 You had a grand day for it  :)

We are going out shortly, wild camping. We thought we'd better make the most of this weekend as we may not be allowed to leave our houses soon.

Lovely. Thank you
The western edge of Exeter is hardly inner city but particularly at this time I envy those whose doors open straight onto countryside.
So many paths yet to walk, so little time left

Superb mountainous round and photos  O0
We've walked up Moasdale once before but I can't remember a thing about it, except maybe that it was pretty boggy.

Thank you for all the kind replies O0

Sadly the situation has now changed and unless you live there it looks like the countryside is very much out of bounds. So it looks like until we come out of the other side of this terrible situation local walks straight out of my door will be the right thing to do.
( and who knows how long we we will be able to do that for )  :(

Lovely pics of a great area, Karl. And you're right, I had a cracking day on the Coniston fells with my elder daughter yesterday but think that's it for some time.
