had this little trundle on the North pennines scarp today with mike from go4awalk.com and bruno from go4arollaboutinsomethinghorrible.co.uk
We started at Dufton , so beloved of all PW..ers, and ssome field paths and then over a limestone prow with a bit of a scramble and up on to Murton Fell 675metres.
We came down by High Cup and back to Dufton where I found that my exhaust pipe really had fallen off just after I'd left the A66 this morning.
Returned noisily and slowly back over Stainmore to the very lovely County Durham.
Ridleys at Tow law will sort it out tommorrow.
11 miles, 1800 feet of up and several hundred decibels...
