Title: Michael Makinsky gets locked up ABOUT TIME

Michael Makinsky, the idiot who called out both Snowdonia and Lake district MRTs, without just cause, gets jailed for over a year. O0
It cost the various Mountain Rescue teams, close on £33,000, in lost revenue, looking for the culprit.


Let's hope this will be a warning to certain individuals, who want to waste the time of brave Volunteers.


Wasting the time of emergency service voluntary groups,  without just cause, should be made a criminal offence.

My faith in the justice system has been restored (for a while!).

Good. Absolutely no need for his actions. Should have been longer.

Let's only hope it acts as a deterrant to other people, who call the MRts out unnecessarily.
They risk their lives to help those in genuine need of assistance, and yet a large percentage of call outs are totally unnecessary.
