Good evening, I have been visiting this site for a while and thought it was about time I joined. I dont walk long idstances, max 12 miles in a morning as a way to keep fit, and to enjoy the beautiful country that we live in.

I have started walking in particularly wet weather and I am interested in your collective views on waterproof kit.

But I shall leave that for one of the groups

Welcome to the forum from Cornwall.  :)   A beautiful cool occasionally damp day here today.  Good waterproofs made it all the better. O0

Welcome from Portsmouth, keeping dry, one of the great mysteries of life. Many of us have worked out our own ways of doing it, not sure if anyone can claim 100% success?

A belated welcome from rainy South Cumbria.

My view on waterproofs is that money spent on a decent waterproof jacket is money well spent
