I got my Helki back today with pit zips alteration after 9 weeks with Paramo, ok a long time to wait but seems to be worth it  O0

That’s good to hear...remember the original thread when you were weighing up pros and cons of having work done.

They do a good job don't they? I was surprised when it came back with the flaps etc looking like it was made that way in the first place.

Defo made my Helki into a much more usuable jacket. Still gets a bit warm mind...

Yeah a decent job, tho a long wait mind. It makes me wonder why they don't offer the option from factory!

I think it's because they expect you to buy an Alta instead if you want ventilation. I'm not really sure what the Helki is aimed at given 99% of people doing strenuous walking will need those zips. Dog walking maybe? I'm just pleased they do the zip job or I would have a jacket I cannot use most of the time.
