Can't believe this has been read 300+ times and nobody has given a reply...
Teesdale is lovely and has a wildness about it..Barnard Castle is a good shopping town and there are wonderfully scenic areas around it.....charming villages include Egglestone, Cotherstone, Romaldkirk, Staindrop....the impressive High Force....a number of reservoirs...Hamsterley Forest...
All in all a great place to visit and not a million miles away from my fav Dales of Arkengarthdale and Swaledale.

did teesdale on the pw.
i thought it was very beatiful, until it decided to rain and rain and rain..........
bet high cup nick is spectacular in dry weather. looking forward to going back one day to take a better look .

I have never been to Teesdale only Yorkshire Dales.
