Best pic of the day is a really good idea and some very impressive shots been submitted.

Here's mine - a rain storm over Brown Knoll and Swine's Back near Edale in the Peak District with, I think, Mount Famine in the backgound taken from near Pym Chair. Fortunately the rain never reached me! I've added the slightest of touches of grey graduation to the clouds but it's pretty much as it was.

Looking across to Ingleborough from Whernside, Christmas Eve 2006 - my first 'cloud inversion' - unforgettable.

One of my other favourite pics is from the same day, at the end of the walk off Whernside

I don't quite know why, and technically it's all wrong with it's washed out background (though it might not work so well without?), but I love this shot. It was almost at the full reach of my zoom lens, inside a dark barn, and it just struck me as alive somehow! Maybe even a bit lonely, given that all the other machinery was on show at a farm open day!

Quite nice O0 . I'm assuming the MF stands for Massey-Fergusson.

Ok, the best for today- I must admit I'm quite disappointed with my efforts today, and this picture really doesn't do the place justice but it is "my best pic of the day"

Facing the other way was a nicer shot of a little waterfall but was spoilt by a strange looking man standing where I didnt want him to  >:(
