Had a fabulous walk today, scrambling exposed ridges too  :D Parkhouse Hill, Chrome Hill & Hitter hill. apologies for copy & pasting pic. :)

I took these photographs on Saturday while walking from Loughborough to Leicester along the River Soar. It was the first of many walks I plan to do in 2014. The river was in flood, there was ankle deep mud for miles and I hated every minute of it at the time. I can look back on it now as one of the best walks I have done for ages. The entire walk worked out to 19.7 miles in length after all the detours I made for flooding.
