A damselfly falls victim to a spider's web:

And a happier event as two damselflies mate:

Both taken at Deep Hayes Country Park near Leek yesterday afternoon.

First weekend trip after I finished C2C walk in April. Sudeten Mountains on the Czech-Polish borders  :)

Kralický Sněžník mountain range

Kralický Sněžník again

Footpath on the state border

Trees on the Smrk mountain:

Morava river valley (Moraviadale!)

Summit of Kralický Sněžník (1424 m)

And sunset over Krkonoše mountains (with Sněžka aka "Snow mountain" - 1603 m)

Looks beautiful.  I'd love to explore a bit more of Europe by foot.

It's much different than England. Beautiful, but I really miss sheep and stone walls here  :)

Just back from 3 fantastic days in the Lakes. Got sunburnt today despite applying factor 30. A small price to pay.

Here's one from Friday. Climbing Eagle Crag from Langstrath, looking back towards Borrowdale:

Here is one from a wild camp near Brock Crags at the weekend.

That photograph makes me want to take one of my tents with me on my next walk. The larger tent is out in the garden right now for the little one to play in.

OOOOOOHHHHHH I need a pair  :D  They'd compliment my migrane-inducing lack of colour co-ordination perfectly  ;D

I'm not sure if this will work, but if it does, an Osprey from Aviemore - very much not walking, sitting in a hide...

I took this yesterday on a walk from Preston to Southport. The sign is near Westlands Farm on the Ribble Way.
