After a little map study,  the beach on Glas Leac Mor?

What a place to visit! And what a day.

I’m afraid not this time Richard.

Damn, I would like to play but the only one I've recognised is Rona - sailed in there for the night some years ago. Beautiful just.
So many paths yet to walk, so little time left

Rona is indeed beautiful. We have been there quite a few times over the last 10 years.

Reasonably warm, as it was one the day I took the picture. I am surprised someone didn’t suggest a Caribbean location  :)

Got there in the end!

Goodness knows I've sailed past that hill often enough on the Stornoway ferry. God's own country, as far as I am concerned.

I will have to try something more tricky next time - perhaps not on the west coast of Scotland.

He's very good at that. Pity they don't do a practical version of Mastermind, would make good TV. I thought Rona was impressive but given enough time I might have found that with Skye as a clue. Had a glance at Mellon Udrigle and can't see those distant lands at all - looks like open sea on the beach next door! Let alone get it from somewhere in the UK!

What's a rough grid reference of the location?

NG 8895 9580 OS Explorer 434.

The beach is a bit different, being one of the few east facing beaches on the west coast.

Another one with some fog to obscure part of the view.
