An amazing autumnal afternoon on Slievemartin
« on: 20:02:04, 01/11/15 »

Being attracted to woodland walking at this time of year, yesterday's walk saw me ascend Sleivemartin through Kilbroney forest. Once at the summit I traversed over to Slievemeen, before making the short walk to Slieveban which offered breathtaking views across Carlingford Lough to Slieve Foye. I took a different route for descent through Kilbroney forest; autumnal colours were the best I've ever saw. Total distance was 11.5km.
