Bit of advice please?
« on: 00:05:12, 16/03/16 »

Looking for a bit of advice from some local people please.  I'm staying up near Hawes for a few days next week, and although i would consider myself a pretty competent walker, i don't have snow gear like crampons etc. looking at some of the recent posts it looks like the higher peaks still have quite a bit of snow on them.  Would i be best sticking to the lower walks or are the peaks clearing pretty well now?

Thanks for you help.

The tops do have varying amounts of snow, but not really 'winter conditions'. Micro spikes would be adequate for the tops.
Most of the Dales are fairly clear.
