Well I was counting Friday as during the week, but totally admit to sneaking a potential weekend walk in too!

Is Friday officially the weekend for the purposes of this thread?!  8)

Its a fair cop, I missed that you talked about today. I will pay more attention in future  O0

Wednesday I was trying to walk while at the hospital physio session....  :-\

The first time I've been able to walk more than a few metres without any discomfort.  O0
Good going! O0

Yesterday - Friday before 5:00 pm is a week day. A gentle amble with a non-walking friend down to the beach at Branscombe Mouth - dozed on the beach, threw stones in the sea, watched the waves, paddled, chatted and put the world to rights, leaned a gate sharing the autumn peace with cows and calves ..............

Arrgh, no. Don't say that  :(   That means my walk after work yesterday counts as a weekend walk but I was at work today  ;D

A favourite place for me to walk during the week is Ilkley moor. It has everything for me - moorland, forests, water...and nearby coffee shops.

Another great and under-rated place is Widdop, between Hebden Bridge and Colne.
I lived in a forest for a few months
Now i'm a fairweather camper +glamper..

Sorry, Mel. Being retired I get a bit confused with week days and weekends now :-\

I've done one walk there,  around Cludders  Slack and Widdop reservoir - I keep meaning to return and explore the area more, it looks like great walking country.

It is vastly under rated, and there is usually no one about. Has a wild feel to it. Great place.

I did a nice walk around Pearson Park this afty in between dentist and hair appointments.  Then did a nice but blustery walk along the banks of the Humber this evening and watched the ferry go out  :)

Also this week did a short trip from Steel Rigg to Housesteads and back which was pretty impressive ...then a wander up Simonside (there & back) from a car park in the middle of nowhere ...both well worth a few hours if you happen to be in Northumbria :)
