Cees van der Land, who led at one stage, appears to have dropped off the radar completely - I wonder where he is?
He is at Tan Hill with Sabrina Verjee.

Yes, he's probably been neck and neck with Sabrina all the time.

He appears to have dropped behind a bit now though, his route trace suggests some kind of navigational problem at the head of High Cup Nick. He's on his way down now, but Sabrina has just passed through Dufton without stopping, a 2 mile lead.

Looks like Sabrina Verjee is out on her own as Cees van der Land is down as retiring at Alston.Looks like she has gone a bit off route near Wain Rigg, perhaps due to bogs?

She's still there in the lead. I came into this one rather late, has she actually stopped and slept yet?

I think that she caught a few hours at the checkpoint just west of Middleton in Teesdale.

Shame that Cees van der Land had to retire - he was neck and neck with Sabrina. Barring some kind of disaster, she has the race in the bag now.

She appears to have had a more serious navigational issue just before arriving at Bellingham.

A magnificent performance - she's on the western slopes of the Cheviot itself, and she could beat Jasmine's time.

Jasmin's time was 3 days 10 hours? If she wants to beat that she is going to have to sprint the last three miles!

Jasmin Paris's time was 3 days, 11 hours and 12 minutes. So, she has 7:12pm to aim for, which is now a possibility as she didn't appear to stop at the last refuge hut.

Meanwhile, down on "the undercard", Esteban Diaz Castaneda looks like he has the men's race sewn up...…………..unless he "does a Eugeni"  :o
