er.... very nice but isn't that the Peak District? Most of it is in Yorkshire, but not in the Yorkshire Dales. Southern most tip is Skipton.

I'm not entirely sure most of it is in the PD national park either. Rest of Britain doesn't seem appropriate. A bit of a strange one, so I posted the main report in the PD section with just a link here as it may be of interest to folks in South Yorks.

From my map of the Peak District the boundary is the Car Park with the Ranger Centre.  Quite a bit of the park is in Yorkshire.. But then some of the Yorkshire Dales are in Lancashire and Cumbria.. (Including one of the Three Peaks.. ) But we don't talk about that..... :-X
Its a couple of years since I did that same walk... Nice to be reminded of it :)
