Safe in the Hills

Received my monthly Walkingworld e-newsletter today, which gives details of the new "Safe in the Hills" website put together by Kirkby Stephen Mountain Rescue Team
Well worth a look

Might all be fairly obvious to the majority of us, but should be helpful to those new to hill-walking.

Courage doesn’t always come in a loud roar.
Sometimes courage comes as a small voice at the end of the day saying,
“I’ll try again tomorrow.”
