We are back home and have just about dried out  ;D

There was a tremendous turnout for the Big Day Out despite the awful weather, we got soaked and blasted by the wind. Great to see pdstsp and pdstspdaughter  :) Richard if you were there we didn't manage to spot you.

Well that was wet.

Beefy and the side of pdstspdaughters' head!!

Great turnout all things considered.  Thanks for taking our placards back to Grasmere, April.  We went for hot soup in Skelwith Bridge to thaw out.

Well done for braving the bad weather! Have just seen the facebook page, did you not fancy going in the lake in your swimming cossies as I see some did?!  ;D

Common sense prevails all round - this week we heard that the proposed Ipswich Northern Bypass is almost definitely going to be scrapped, thus saving much lovely Suffolk countryside that we regularly walk.

Didn't make it I'm afraid, April - busy at home - washing machine AND the vacuum cleaner both decided to break within a day of one another.

Well done for attending despite the lively weather.

Great news, we need more common sense  :)

Well done for attending despite the lively weather.

Sorry we didn't get to meet you. I think Squeaky is wishing she had broke our washing machine and hoover  :D She wasn't too keen waiting on the shore.
