Lost Lad Tomorrow

Decided to scrap Kinder Scout tomorrow and decided on Lost Lad. Any one else heading that way.. find my e-mail address on my profile.. O0

Cracking walking on Derwent Moor around there, an excellent choice sir! O0 Unfortunately I'm working tomorrow so I'm unable to join you. :( I hope it's clear for you as the view from Lost Lad is, in my opinion, the best view anywhere in the Peak District!

Just been to Derwent Edge and lost Lad from Ashopton 9 mile jaunt in rather nice weather for November..Have tried to upload photos but still can't get the hang of compressing my files...Oh [censored]..Try having a wee peek at my facebook page

Well you had a lovely day for it, look foward to seeing your photos.
Is there a reason you can't simply bung them on Photobucket and paste the links in?

What software are you using on your PC for your photos Jock? Have you got something like Photoshop or other imaging software? If so you could try opening the photos in that and resizing them. This will reduce the file size so they take up less space and will be easier and quicker to upload into software such as Photobucket. I use Tinypic.com and I think that's really good  :)

Can you tell us what the various outcrops/boulders are, Jock?
I'm guessing one of the photos shows the 'Cakes of Bread'?

Did you have a bit of a scramble at all?

Great photo's there old jock! O0 Derwent Moor is such a good place to go walking and one of my favourite parts of the Peak District.

The first photo is of myself and the wife at the start next to ladybower resevoir, the second is from the first ascent onto the Edge, the third i beleive are the wheel stones,the fourth one is....don't know!! the fifth is the cakes of bread, the sixthe is the salt cellar, and the last one is the path around the resevoir at the end of the walk  O0
