Still can't get the hang of getting these photos on taken me over an hour, never mind, Headed off from Mansfield around 10.a.m Christmas day, parked near to the Toads Mouth, from there walked over the moor towards carl Wark and after a short scramble through the snow and rocks met the best ever snow woman standing proudly on top facing down the valley towards Hathersage, carried on down towards Higger Tor, loads of people out for a walk and some crazy runners in shorts and trainers making good progress over the moor, ( nutters ) Headed over to Burbage Bridge and stopped for a quick cup of tea, then headed over the edge back down to the main path and back to the car. 5miles, 3 hours and then a bacon roll cooked on the campstove from the back of the car. What a great way to spend Christmas day. More phots to follow when a can be bothered. Craig
