Small bottle of Johnson's baby shampoo (£1) will cover all your washing needs including you,  clothes, and dishes.  Lasts ages.

A bar avoids the need for unnecessary plastic. Unable to get soap flakes from Wilko's any longer, I now grate flakes off a bar so they dissolve easily into hot water when washing clothes.
It's simple - one foot in front of the other.

My total kit (and I might miss things off)

Mananddog, one thing I'm not seeing on your list is a first aid kit. Surely you take Compeed at the very least?

I did take compeed and a small roll of tape. I did get a blister - mainly because my boots started to collapse. Since JOGLE I have not had a blister despite doing 200+ mile trips usually over 10 to 12 days.

Sorry I have not had time to send the trip report- a few disasters at home involving a serious plumbing leak and my dog Midge falling ill (one fixed and one improving)

We have been weekend walking the Northern coast of the SW coast path this year.  20 miles per day is tuff schedule.  There are sections where you will cover 8 to 10,000ft of accents and decents in 20miles.

I did it. It is tough but when you have managed all the way there from JoG you are pretty fit .
