Peter Hill.

Nice walk up Peter Hill, 617m, which is just south of Banchory. Nice, sunny, warm day.
The start of the way up.

The pathway.

Looking over towards Bennachie.

I think that this is Mount Keen.

Lochnagar(?).

Mount Battock.

Clachnaben.

As per usual the hardest part was finding the start of the walk, I'd mistakenly thought Sawmill was a place name as opposed to being a......sawmill ::) . At the start of the walk there were a couple of birds swooping about which had the strangest call, almost like a digital electronic sound. No pictures unfortunatley, they were white with darker wings.
The pathway up couldn't be missed and was fairly rough with a couple of smooth sections.
All in all it was a nice afternoon out. I had had a thought that we could go further afield, but a Friday night out (at short notice!) put paid to thatChugger
I also need to get my hands on some more maps.
