I thought Grough had “borrowed” one of my Cross Fell pics for a second. It is a great winter hike especially after a snowfall.

No, I live in Kendal. We often go to Ambleside/Grasmere/Windermere. I work in Windermere and have a view of Fairfield and surrounding hills from my office. So I would not call it regular.

I can see towards Loughrigg from the top of Hampsfell - I'm up there most days with the dog. Couldn't see L today though, clouds down to about 1000'.
