A New Addition
« on: 20:50:17, 25/01/20 »
Good evening Hikers and greetings from the village of Adlington..

I'm a Very new member having just registered this evening so as yet no idea to add an image or detail to my "profile"

I'm signed up for the 3 peaks this Year (20/06/20) and try to get out and about as often as I can. Favourites are Skiddaw, Blencathra, Helvellyn and Snowdons Watkin Path.. Lucky enough to be on Y Garn last weekend with the snow and the beautiful sky..

I have a toe dipped in Scrambling but keen to do more...

Rivington and Anglezarke provide my local movements, a little "lake" district without the mountains... but it's Home !

Welcome to the forum from Cumbria.

Anglezarke - what a wonderful name - couldn't resist searching on the internet to find out where it is.

Welcome to the forum from a fellow Rivi and Anglezarke walker O0
I live just outside Bolton and my walking buddy lives in Belmont and although we mostly walk in the Lakes now we both cut our teeth on Winter hill and the hills about.
Anglezarke - what a wonderful name - couldn't resist searching on the internet to find out where it is.
It is a lovely area Richard and can be surprisingly remote with views to the lakes and Snowdonia on a good day.
We had a walk there last weekend

Thats on the moors above Anglezarke

Even on a bad day you can just make out Snowdonia.

Welcome from Manchester  :)

Some familiar names there from our South Pennines days, walking around Anglezarke Moor, Winter Hill and Redmonds Edge, great stuff.

And welcome from Liverpool.  Mrs pdstsp is a Bolton lass - Great Lever.  Lovely country round Anglezarke and Winter Hill, and a nice cafe in Rivvie!
