the pictures from the walk which caught us totally off guard as we were expecting a bit of wind and reasonable weather, but the further up we got the worse it was, there was 60mph winds with upto 90mph gust in places, thick ice covering all of the summit and snow and ice being blown straight in our faces. We came back down llanberis pass as we though it was the safer option because we had no crampons or pole and because of the ice i could barley keep on my feet anyway. but all in all was a very good day.

great pics mate....I was up there around that date, and was amazed to find the conditions, just like that, hiding away inside the pocket of cloud on the summit, on what was everywhere else, a beautiful day!
