Surely the Rab factory shop should be in China?

Managed to get there today before coming home, opens 12:30-15:30 every Wednesday and Thursday. Managed to get a couple of bargains, Rab stuff about half price or less from RRP. Some good Lowe Alpine stuff in there to at great prices. Worth a trip if your local.

Don't suppose you noticed if they have anything in 3XL? Don't suppose so, but worth asking.

Botty - not sure Rab does anything bigger than XXL.

However, Im currently carrying a few extra pounds (aka fat git  ;) ) and have a Rab XXL baselayer which is fine size-wise and also tried on an Rab XXL softshell the other week and it was fine (except it was carrying too many pounds on the price tag  :( ).  I cant imagine your much bigger than me so maybe XXL is big enough for you ??

Do they have a decent range of stuff in there? Or is it all a bit random?

To be fair there is quite a good selection. Plenty of down jackets in both mens and womens in all sizes, loads of waterproof rab jackets and some trousers. Plenty of lowe alpine fleeces and trousers as well as a few random boxes with hats etc in. The stuff is either factory second or sample, it states clearly on the label and if its a second it has a sticker on the garment pointing out what the fault is.
Was just a little too busy yesterday to browse in comfort, although we got what we wanted.
As an example, my partner for a Microlight Alpine jacket for £60 which is a massive bargain!

Thought I would resurrect this thread rather than start a new one.

Popped in there today and it would appear the Lowe Alpine stuff has dissapeared - but plenty Rab jackets at prices between £50 and £80.  Very few trousers (unless you need XS size) which is what I went in for - sadly not my size - but ended up getting a Momentum jacket for £70 which seems like a good deal and a very nice, light eVent jacket - looking forward to trying that out soon.

They try to be helpful on the phone re whats in the shop but its hit and miss as to what they have at any given time.

I went tuther week but only bought a pair of gaiters for £5, normally cost £25.
Aiming to go back soon when I've got more cash, its only 20 mins away.
Not a big place but worth a gander if you're in the vicinity. O0
