Today I saw my first real cloud inversion at Symonds Yat on the borders of Monmouthshire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire. It was a spectacular sight and the photos don't do it justice:

:( I wish i had some pics of my own cloud inversion..,but i havent,Orrr sad little ole me..,hehe, but looking at everyone elses make me realise i will see one ,one day. once again Peter60 great shot mate.

Couldn't resist this!. Once you've seen a really good one you begin to study the weather forecasts to predict others. The best ones are at dawn and are rare indeed: these were taken from Great End:
