How smooth is that Tarn?  It really does look like glass.  Awesome.

And it was taken on board Ship Glyn - I was on a cruise ship in the Med for me hols, this was the night before we got to Malta.  We a fair number of sunsets like this.  Really wonderful.

I know this is generally for more scenic pictures but I wasn't sure where to post it.
I walk to work everyday as I live very close, I have to cut through a park and they have put a new art work in ... not sure how long it will last but this is it. I do think it's a lovely bonus to my walk though.

that's very unusual D&B... is taken somewhere north Liverpool-ish?

I recognise that v. high building on the waterfront to the left

Glyno it was taken in Everton Park.
It's not a very fancy park but it gives you a fantastic view of the city and the waterfront. It's really beautiful at night too when it is lit up.

And a good view of Wales / Snowdonia from Everton park especially if there is snow on the hills , spent many a lunch time in the park yearning to be over there  O0

I love the view from the park and would often sit and admire the view, now I walk through every day I have sometimes forgotten just how great it is. After a crap day at work it often uplifts my mood and makes me realise things are not so bad.

This pic is from Alison Baskerville, she was commissioned by the Royal British Legion to take photo's of Female troops in Afghanistan. I love this picture of Lance Corporal Rachael Clayton. I think to me it shows a very feminine form in a very alien background.

Bit of a sucker for lumps of old iron lying around the countryside;

However this a rather special plough and probably quite rare, two furrow semi-digger plough bodies with mechanical self lifting, shown by the lugs on the land wheel.
